Today N, my 5 year old son, got angry. He wanted to do math like his older sister. He wanted to do addition and subtraction. If you have followed along for any length of time you know that he is just kind of trotting along with the flow doing school here and there. He is not enrolled and I am not pushing him to do work along side her. So, today when he was upset about not being able to do her math with her we seized the moment and got to work on counting and number recognition. These are the moments that homeschool moms live for! The ones where the child leads the way and shows that he/she is ready to learn a new concept.
